Squeezed between Burr Ridge, Darien, and Westmont, Willowbrook is a small suburb with less than 10,000 people as of the 2010 census. It is sometimes overlooked due to its size and its close proximity to so many other suburbs. However, Willowbrook does have one very unique claim to fame. It is the hometown of Ozzie Guillen, a player for the Chicago White Sox from 1985 – 2000 and their coach from 2004 – 2011. In 2005, he led the White Sox to victory in the World Series, becoming the first latino manager in MLB history to win a World Series.
